Head Coach and Assistant Coach Gettysburg YWCA

Gettysburg Sharks Swim Team (GETY) in Gettysburg, PA is looking for a Head Coach and/or Assistant Coaches.

Candidates must have current American Red Cross CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications.  Must be willing to work weeknights between 5:30pm and 8pm, with availability on weekends.  USA coaching certification is preferred or must be something you are willing to obtain.

The Sharks practice at the YWCA Gettysburg & Adams County where Employee Membership benefits are included based on the number of hours worked per week.  Fall/Winter Season runs September- February/early April and Summer Season runs mid-April- July.

Assistant Coach Big Spring Aquatic Club

The Big Spring Aquatic Club is looking for an assistant coach for the 2017 2018 winter season. Practices are Monday Friday, 5:15 pm 7:00 pm from October 10, 2017 through February 2018.

Requirements:


At least 18 years of age
The ability to effectively collaborate with other coaches, board members, parents, and swimmers in a professional manner
State and Federal clearances
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of high school competitive swimming experience
Previous coaching experience
Ability to work with all age groups (8U 18U)
Current certification or willingness to become certified: CPR/AED/First Aid/Safety Training for Swim Coaches and lifeguarding
Duties:
Lead swimmers through age appropriate workouts focusing on technique, endurance, stroke development, starts, turns, etc
Encourage team unity
Attend meets, meetings, invitationals, etc

Assistant Swim Coach Central York Aquatics

Central York Aquatics, a growing 120+ member club, located in York, Pennsylvania, is seeking part-time assistant coaches. CYA is a relatively new team (established in 2009) that participates in USA Swimming sanctioned meets, including Silver Champs, Junior Olympics, Senior Champs, and Zones, as well as a summer local dual meet league.


Job duties include coaching swimmers ages 6-18, assisting the head coach with various administrative duties, and instructing athletes on how to be both better swimmers AND better people.
Applicants with previous coaching experience of at least one year, and a swimming background in either club, high school, or college swimming are preferred.


Salary: Commensurate with experience.
